Meet The Doctor

Dr. Kinaia is the Associate Director of the Graduate Periodontology Program at the University of Detroit Mercy in Michigan. He is also the former the Director of the Graduate Periodontology Program at the University of Detroit Mercy in Michigan as well as the Boston University Institute for Dental Research and Education (BUIDRE) at Boston university in Dubai. Recently, Dr. Kinaia has been appointed as the Director of the Michigan Periodontal Association serving periodontists in the State of Michigan.

Dr. Kinaia is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP) and the International Congress of Oral Implantology (ICOI). Dr. Kinaia has a certificate of Excellence from the American Academy of Periodontology in recognition of his teaching and research fellowship. He obtained his DDS degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in Detroit, Michigan and later completed his Master of Science (MS) and Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS) in Periodontology at the University of Detroit

Dr. Kinaia is a member of numerous professional societies and has numerous journal publications, chapter books and research in the fields of Periodontology and Dental Implants. He is a clinician with over 24 years of private practice experience and is an academician where he lectures nationally and internationally. Additionally, Dr. Kinaia is deeply committed to continuing education and actively participates in Dental CE programs. He maintains a position in Private Practice in Sterling Heights, MI (www.miperioimplant.com).

Dental CE cancellation policy

Dental CE cancellations must be made at least 4 weeks prior to the beginning of the Dental CE course to receive a refund. If a cancellation is received 4 weeks or less from the beginning of the course, no refund will be granted. Refunds will not be provided for same-day cancellations or no-shows.
A $100 administrative fee will be charged for each change made within 4 weeks of the Dental CE course
Michigan Periodontics & Implants LLC reserves the right to refuse registration and to cancel or modify the Dental CE course without prior notice.
Customer Travel Costs: Michigan Periodontics & Implants LLC is not responsible for reimbursing prepaid (including non-refundable) customer travel costs. It is recommended that customers who elect to incur travel costs for a course, schedule and purchase airfare and hotel accommodations with this in mind.
